Trees, Trees and more Trees

Today Chloe and I went to the Jacksonville Arboretum and Gardens. We had a fun time hiking the trails. We saw wood ducks and lots of turtles. I forgot my camera, but here are a couple of pictures from the website. It is has very nice trails, although they are a little short (3 - 0.31 mile loops).

Then we went home and painted some suncatchers with the next door neighbor kids. I will take some pictures tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great superbowl tomorrow. I am going to make wings for Chloe and Buffalo wings for me. It should be fun watching Chloe eat them.

This is Chloe's second Birthday. We went to the park with Grandma to play on the swings and the wiggly bridge. (yes that is me with my head cut off.)

Today Chloe and Erica played in the puddles left over from the deluge of rain we had all day.

Daryl in VA

Well, Chloe and I are by ourselves for the next two weeks....As the title says Daryl went to VA for the next two weeks. I hope he has fun. He will be taking two classes and playing in the field for a couple of days (updating his guns quals and such). Chloe and I had a slow day, which I suspect will be the normal while Daryl is gone. (She is currently watching Sesame Street - her all time favorite along with Mickey Mouse Club House) I am currently making hamburgers - it was suppose to be meatballs, but hamburgers sounded better. Chloe could not wait for dinner, so she had lasagna from last night.

Snakes and other things that slither

Chloe had a great day! First we went to the library and read a couple of books...story hour starts next week...minor brain lapse. Then we went eat lunch out with Daryl at Zaxabys. After that we went to the park across the street from Base. It was really cool. There were swings and a neat path that went to a look out tower. We saw all sorts of neat birds from the lookout tower. We then went to the Nature center and got to see them feeding the snakes. Then we went home and went to play with Abbey and Wyatt. (note we did not have the camera with us today...picture is from the internet)

Today

Chloe didn't do much today, but hang out and watch the "Changefest" on television. She was so cute...she claps on cue, boy does she still have some learning. :-)

She has a spaghetti face . . . and yes it is noon and we are still in our PJs. We finally went to Target to walk around a bit.

Cookies and Cocoa

Yesterday, Chloe and I went to a park with a group of friends (Isabella in first picture and Jen and Addison in second picture) for Cookies and Cocoa. Chloe loved the Cocoa and going down the slide...she threw a little tantrum, when I took her away from the play structure.

Park

Today we all went to a new park and walked around. We all had a great time even though it was a bit chilly.

O2B

Chloe and I spent the day at O2B Kids. Chloe loves doing the artwork and playing in the gym.

Angels

Chloe spent her last day in Buffalo making snow angels in Grandma and Grandpa's front yard.
