Past couple of days

Today we spent the day doing little projects. Daryl painted the shelves and I worked on one of the chairs...

Then she had a great little ladybug as a snack. (necterine, raisons, and sticks)

Yesterday, Paul and Helen came over and we went to a movie then to the park. Chloe and Paul rode in the bike trailer, they were so cute together.Daryl spent the last week in San Diego. While he was there he got to visit with Ali, Chad, Ryan and Rayna. They are doing fine. The kids are growing like weeds and their backyard looks awesome. I can hardly wait to see it myself.

Busy Day

Today was a busy one. Chloe had her last doctors visit with Dr Potter. We will miss him...he treated Chloe well. We still have to find a new Ped for Chloe. She is fine - her thyroid levels are all within norms now. The only issue is her platelets are a little high (they have been high the past 2 or so CBCs) He thinks that it is because of her surgery, but said to check it with the next thyroid screen.

After her doctors appt, we went to the store to get waffles and yogurt. Then we went home to make our giraffe. (Remind me not to give purple paint to a child) She is currently learning to put lotion on herself and I guess she thought the paint was a good subsitute. :-) (Don't worry about her eating the paint...I made it from water and corn starch.

At least she cleans up well. (I added a little soap to the paint I made to make it a little easier.)

She spent a long time playing with the water and trying to drink from the faucet. I will post the final picture of the giraffe tomorrow...it is drying.
