Past week

I was playing around with my smilebox account to see how it would post in the blog.... well here it is.

We have had a busy week...Disney, pools, painting, and more.

Chloe loved drawing in the sugar....it was all over once she figured out that it was sugar...

Library, swimming, horses! Oh, my!

This week has been filled with fun and rain....we have been rained out of swimming at the Y for the past 2 days :) I think I am going to have to figure out how to keep Chloe in swim classes once summer school and camp start up...now that Chloe realizes where we are going she is soooo happy when we get there.
We have been spending everyday at the library with their wonderful summer reading program - - it is all about water. Today we learned about penguins and before that we learn about Chloe's favorite alligators.
Hanna has been along for the ride (although she does not like the Y nearly as much as Chloe and I do---strange adversion to their Daycare - well at least she is getting her lung workout while I try to zumba :) ) Hanna has also picked up some eye thingy...the doctor says it is not pinkeye, but....we are on eye cream any way....did anyone know that Hanna has the strength of around 10 horses and getting cream into her eye is like a crazy dance of an eight armed octopus....ugh.
Well good news, the girls and I are going to Disney on Sat for the Family Cafe conference (more like a mini vaca since I do not know how many sessions we will be able to go to - - but I do know the pool is nice - - I know how to spend father's day)
Also Chloe is going to get a up to a $500 scholarship for a class - - I just have to figure out what I want to use it for. It is from the nice people at Our military Kids (http://www.ourmilitarykids.org/). I am thinking about theraputic horseback riding in the fall/winter...but I am up for ideas.

Sunny days, Everyone come and Play

Chloe was beside herself in excitement tonight. We got to go see Sesame Street Live...Elmo, Rosita, Zoe, Grover and Cookie Monster! She had a ball. She danced the whole time. She even got to meet Cookie Monster personally...and she didn't freak out too badly (may there is hope for Santa pics this year).

The girls also got their Daddy dolls today - - Chloe immediatelt signed Daddy when she saw it. They turned out pretty cute. (I will take better pics of them this week - - it will probably become a Flat Stanley type project for the blog...how many places can Daddy go while on deployment??) Here is Chloe's Daddy on Sesame Street.

Swimming

Chloe had her first swim lesson yesterday. She was a trouper....and she only once jumped slide into the pool without her teachers.

Busy Days

Ok...so call me crazy... In the past 28 hours we (the girls and I) have -

1. Gone to the zoo (Dreamnight)

4. Great American Campout (but we didn't over night)

Boy was it hot!!!! She got to eat her hotdog on a frisbee!

We are pooped. Everyone slept on the way home...well, except me.
