1002 uses for Duct Tape

Couldn't resist putting Hanna in a pumpkin like we did to Chloe...Chloe took it much better - - Hanna screamed though the whole evovlution. Good thing she has a big sister to try and make things better with a kiss and a pat.

We were getting the girls ready for Halloween. Daryl had Chloe and I was feeding Hanna. Well, Chloe needed her diaper changed and since I was feeding Hanna I could not step in :). Despite a mid change rollover, everything was going fine until Daryl undid the second tab. The diaper was defective and the whole tab came off. By this time Chloe has wiggled herself free and is standing up with a diaper hanging loosely to her leg. Daryl then thinks to tape it back on. Well, needless to say the Chlomiester quickly figured out how to remove the sticky tape. She was back to running around naked. Next thing I know - I hear Daryl asking where the Duct Tape is....

The kids had a good time trick-or-treating - - my two little dogs.

1 Month Old

Well, Hanna is one month old today. It seems like she was just born and yet some times it feels like she has been around for longer than a month. I am sure that this year is going to fly.

Ties That Bind, Connections In The Down Syndrome Community

For a couple months now, Chloe has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the T21 Afghan. The T21 Afghan is traveling all around the US and to many foreign countries - gaining love as it goes. As a family we read each upate about every new child's life with the blanket. It is amazing how everyone is tied together in this project. Currently they are giving a blanket away for the child to keep. If we win this blanket, I think that we will be giving it to Chloe's brand new cousin (1 month now - where does the time go!)
Thoughout our journey, we have met tons and tons of wonderful people. I can honestly say that everyone is super special to us. When we moved to Jacksonville, it was like we already had a built in network of friend. I can't put into words what everyone's support has meant to me and my family.

Stuck home with Pink Eye

Well, it looks like Chloe and I will be stuck at home for the next couple of days (the doctor say for the next three days - so we should be free Friday). So today while under Q we made Zucchinni Bread and muffins.

Fourth of July (Disney)

We spent the fourth of July at Walt Disney. We had a good time. We went to Hollywood Studios in the morning to ride the Toy Story ride. Then we headed to Animal Kingdom for the day - we figured it would be the least crowded and the most shaded. (It was really hot). When that park closed, we went to Epcot to eat dinner at the Morrocan Cafe. Daryl had the lamb shwamma and I had the chicken one. Chloe had chicken nuggets. We then watched the fire works. They had the standard illumination ones then they had another 7 minute of Fireworks for the 4th. There were thousands of fireworks - - Chloe slept though all of them. She actually caught a bit of a cold so she spent the night in bed with me - - (Daryl had to move to the other bed....Chloe is a little helicopter in bed) Here are a couple of pics from are adventure.

Trying to imitate my Cousin Reese - - pretty good huh?

Pictures from Univeral and Downtown Disney

We went to lunch at a Dinosaur Restuarant at Downtown Disney. Daryl and Chloe dug up some dino bones while we waited. We also played in the jumping water.
Chloe likes riding Jaguars.

She meant what she said and she said what she meant, a Chloe is faithful 100%.

And yet more water playing....

This is the red fish, blue fish ride. Chloe loved it...too bad the wait was too long to go on it again.

Chloe and Daryl loved climbing up all the rope ladder things.

Ball pit heaven!

Who can resist posing with Woody Woodpecker?

We are still working on actually sleeping in the toddler bed....
